These are thesis topics proposed by the host laboratories of the I-MEP² Doctoral School for ordinary (ministerial) doctoral contracts.
Contact with the thesis supervisor is essential, and also enables the doctoral candidate to obtain further information on the research theme and the type of work required of the doctoral student.

Priority topics for doctoral contracts at the I-MEP² Doctoral School are selected and presented in the Doctoral Contract Competition and Thesis Subject Proposals section of this website. Some are selected to accompany research themes supported by scientific clusters under the "AGIR" program. Others are selected by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and by the I-MEP² Doctoral School, to meet the thematic priorities of the host laboratories.

The CEA awards scholarships for the preparation of theses in its laboratories. The I-MEP2 Doctoral School is notably involved in theses prepared at LETI, LITEN and Cadarache, Marcoule and Saclay. Consult the CEA thesis offers.

Some thesis subjects involve a company. This is the case for "CIFRE" theses (Conventions Industrielles de Formation par la REcherche), prepared under a 3-year fixed-term contract (CDD) between the company and the doctoral student.
The company receives a public grant from the ANRT (Association Nationale de la Recherche Technique). The thesis is prepared on a time-sharing basis between the company and the public laboratory.
Files for these CIFRE theses are put together by the companies. For this type of thesis, you need to contact the industrial partners directly, as they can offer a wide range of subjects throughout the year.
