17 "ordinary" doctoral contracts are awarded to the I-MEP² Doctoral School by Grenoble INP.
The average percentage of doctoral students from laboratories attached to the I-MEP² Doctoral School funded by an "ordinary" doctoral contract from the IMEP² ED is less than 15%.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
All candidates who meet the regulatory requirements, whether they have prepared their Research Master's degree (or equivalent) in Grenoble, elsewhere in France or abroad*, are eligible to apply for a doctoral contract.
The amount of these doctoral contracts is €2100 gross per month (≈1638€ net) for 36 months.
*Foreign Master's degree: subject to Master's exemption
Requests for subjects are sent to the management of the host laboratories in February.
The criteria taken into account by Jury 1 are listed below:
_Balance between themes and teams;
_Supervision (young HDRs, recently recruited researchers) ;
_Award history;
_Laboratory scientific policy;
_International collaborations, co-tutelles (mainly for 1/2 CDO)

In the light of the criteria that can be examined, the jury will agree on the ranking sent to the laboratory managements, leading to :
_subjects ranked in A
_subjects ranked in B
_subjects ranked in C

You should contact the thesis director to inform him/her of your decision to apply for the subject.
Click on the subject you are interested in, then at the top of the subject page, click on "apply".
Fill in the required information and submit a single PDF containing the following documents :
1 - copy of certificate showing subjects taken, grades obtained (last 3 semesters - semesters 8, 9 and 10) and class ranking. If you do not have a French Master's degree or French engineering diploma, but have an equivalent diploma, attach a certificate or copy of the foreign diploma showing the subjects taken, the grades obtained and your ranking in the class ;
2 - copy of your identity card or passport ;
3 - résumé ;
4 - letter of motivation ;
5 - letters of recommendation (if any) ;
PS: Send the certificate with the final results as soon as possible.

Applications appear on the thesis director's ADUM form. If the application has the symbol it means that the student has finalized the procedure.
It is therefore up to each thesis supervisor to check the application and validate the one that meets all the required criteria.

The results will only be known after the I-MEP² Doctoral School Council meeting on June 8, 2023, after validation by the doctoral contract "Jury" Commission.
